Getting set up and reading through all the material.

Height: 5'5 - Weight: 179.8

8:00AM - About 1.5C of Pineapple & Strawberries.
11:00AM - Hard Boiled Egg
2:00PM - 1/2 chicken breast
6:00PM - Turkey breast with carrots and potato.
9:00PM - crackers with goat cheese.

I didn't eat enough during the day so by the time dinner came I was so hungry that I made the wrong choices. Day 1 not so much a success but I know when I get back to Halifax from Cape Breton and am able to prep my own meals I will be right on track. Tomorrow is a new day and I will be successful!

Day 2:

8:00AM - Chicek breast, hard boiled egg, strawberries & pineapple
12:00PM - Chicken breast, spinach with tomato, mushroom and 1 tbsp poppyseed dressing, 1 hard boiled egg.
3:00PM - Carrotts, celery, broccoli, grapes, pineapple.

Mother's Day Dinner was not successful. I definitely need help with eating out.

7:30PM - Shared mussels & escargot.
Crab cakes as my entree
Didn't order desert but had a few bites of butterscotch pie.

Day 3: (May 11)

12:00PM - Strawberries & Pineapple for breakfast
( I later read through the guidelines again and realized I should be limiting my fruit intake. I'm assuming this is because of the sugar.)
2:30 - 1/2 Chicken Breast, Spinach salad with cherry tomatoes, mushroom and 1 tbsp poppyseed dressing.
6:00 - 1 Rye cracker with 1 tbsp all natural peanut butter.

I still did not follow the guidelines property on this day but I read over everything in more detail and am finally settled back at home. I plan to start my workouts today (May 12) and my meal prep will be done tonight for the rest of the week.

Day 4: (May 12)
Workout Day!

12:00PM - 1 celery stalk with 1 tbsp all natural peanut butter, 1 hard boiled egg.
5:30PM - 1C Quinoa with 4 ounces Chicken Breast, Salsa & hot sauce.

Day 5: (May 13)

I went over my calorie & carb intake today. I need to be more creative with recipes.

10:00AM - Celery with all natural peanut butter & 3 ounces Chicken Breast
1:30PM - 1Cup Quinoa with 3 ounces Chicken Breast with hot sauce
7:00PM - 1Cup Quinoa with 3 ounces Chicken Breast and Salsa

Walk / Jog 45 minutes on the treadmill.

Day 7: (May 15) I missed my log for Day 6

9:30AM: Greek yogurt w/ 1C fruit
1:00PM: 1C quinoa w/ 3 ounces chicken breast & hot sauce
8:00PM: 3 ounces vodka with cranberry juice & water which resulted in eating about 5 mozza sticks.

Alcohol will be tough for me to give up on the weekends and that is usually when I eat bad food. The goal is to break that habit.

The weekend was a bust and I forgot to log my food on here. I was down weight but am now up weight so starting fresh.

Day 12: (May 20)

9:00AM: 1 large orange
12:00PM: Salmon with cauliflower & hot sauce
5:30PM: 1C rice with veggies
