Cheat Day routine / best tips for sucess

Matt / Mitch:

Okay, so first cheat day has come and gone, and I think I failed. I must admit it was hard to convince myself that I should eat junk (k, maybe not junk), etc and it will be all good if I follow your rules / strategy, so I found myself basically "treating" myself to a couple pieces of pizza, but not really doing anything else.

Can you give me / us a game plan going into next cheat day? Say its Saturday, what does an ideal Sat / Sunday look like?

having a hard time convincing myself to not just eat a low cal / low carb meal on cheat day,

A couple of pieces of pizza is a good cheat meal in my books. The main thing is getting all your cravings out of the way without eating 5000+ calories. Basically if Saturday is your cheat, throughout the day just eat low cal/low carb and then indulge in whatever you want. Sunday you would hold off as long as you can from eating anything and then keep it as low carb as possible.
